Albania is a country in transformation. Transformation from communistic regime to new, bright capitalism. After independence in 90’s, and riots in 1998, looks like country is growing up very fast. In today’s Tirana, a contrast between old and new is obvious. Main streets look like modern western european-style avenues, filled with shops, corporations and offices, but just few blocks away, picture is very different. Trash, abandoned dogs, old cars are proving, that Tirana is still far away from the level they wish they are.
