French photographer Alain Delorme’s captured porters in Shanghai throughout 2009 and 2010 carrying unbelievable piles of things like bottles, chairs and tires in a series he poetically called ‘totems’. The series can be seen this month at “Le Bon Marché” in Paris (video here) until the 19th and also in Amsterdam at The Brandt gallery until the 27th.
