Now you can join festivals and sleep comfortably and safely as well. The solution is B-And-Bee, a cell-sleeping mobile modular and stackable. Last year this model, designed by a team of Belgian designers, won a creative competition in Antwerp.
B-and-Bee can be quickly setup anywhere and it needs a minimal amount of space. It was not designed only for remote camping or festivals but can also be imagined as emergency housing, shelter for the homeless and much more.
Each cell has a luggage room, a closet, a light and a power supply. The cozy king size bed can be easily transformed into a comfortable lounge seat. The project was developed through several tests, analysing also the ease of transport, operation and maintenance.
The materials used are durable, and this helps to reduce to reduce the heavy ecological mark festivals usually have. The product was used for the first time during the DOK Gentse Feesten in Belgium, as a test for the final launch in 2015.
