This project collects my personal reportage work in fashion shows backstage. Despite being a glamourous presentation of clothes, i wanted to focus on models human side, photographing ordinary and extraordinary things happening. Hecticness, long waiting, true and fake smiles, tiredness and hyped up moments. It’s an honest approach to an object into which art, glamour, vanity and power schemes mingle to create the Aura of fashion. With this project I am proposing a radical shift in perspective if we consider the standards of mainstream backstage photography. The project, which sums up a huge collection of images, is currently ongoing and available for publication.
