Elise Toïdé is a Paris based photographer. She was born in the South of France in 1978.
She moved to Paris at the age of 23 and started to work at the press office of a japanese designer. At the same time, she enrolled a Black and White photography evening course.

She moved to Brooklyn, New York in 2006 and studied Documentary photography at the International Center ofPhotography with Mark LaRocca, simultaneously working in a fashion showroom in Manhattan representing confirmed and emerging designers.
She moved back to Paris in 2010. Her work has been exhibited in galleries in New York, Paris and Vienna and has been featured in ENCENS Magazine, METAL Magazine, SOME/THINGS, Liberation.fr, Village Voice.com and several online magazines and blogs. She is collaborating with YOHJI YAMAMOTO or the new parisian club LE SILENCIO designed by David Lynch. She is represented by Andrea Bier in Austria.
