Chelsea Pfohl was born in Oakland, California on a sunny September day in 1989. She moved to New York City when she was 17 on a whim. She spent the better part of 2009 in Berlin amidst a hail of anarchist car bombings and has now given up the ability to drink legally on the sidewalk for a better nights sleep. She is currently working in the small tribal collective Fresh Grown Local in Brooklyn, NY, photographing animals and animalistic people.
it is hard to say what I enjoy more;
the traffic is stopped outside my window,
“my, how much you’ve grown!”
the buttery green meat of avocado peppered,
or how blowjobs are the currency of love.
I’m looking for stars in the stains on my ceiling,
the sound of nickels being dropped in glass jars,
some things are just out of reach
in between me, you so new I let discretion slide.
