EQUALS by Drake Doremus
In a post-Gattaca society where everyone wears white shirts and feelings are illegal or erased as diseases, guess what happens to MTV-faves Kirsten Stewart and Nicolas Hoult.
Drake Doremus creates his broke science-fiction romance with minimalists but classy set-ups and numerous close-ups, like an over-sensitive teenagers video clip where actors rolls in the shower or moan in slow motion. Better known for his discrete Sundance romcoms, Doremus misses his 1984 variation of Romeo and Juliette, abandoning the genre to give life to a soppy utopia more close to Twilight movies.
