Dreams and reality are two worlds that constantly touch each other but never fully merge. Dreams are blurry outlines, like through rainy glass. They are always a little unclear, as if you’re looking at them with your eyes closed, trying to reach them. Reality is solid, like cold stone, but even in it, there are cracks through which dreams grow.
Sometimes, these worlds collide in extraordinary moments. For example, when you stand in the middle of a city at night, and suddenly the rain begins to smell like childhood – sweet, naive, and simple. Or when a ray of sunlight passes through the glass and falls on your face exactly how you’ve always imagined it in your dreams. In those moments, you realize that dreams are not as distant as they seem.
The boundary between them is like a film of water. One step forward – and you’ll fall, either into a dream or back into reality. But these points of intersection are the most precious. They remind us that both worlds are needed: dreams to strive for more, and reality to feel the weight of that striving.
P.S. The boundary between dreams and reality exists, but it is so blurry that it appears and flickers depending on how capable you are of dreaming.
