‘Hold That Pose’ is a project continuing my interests in people in modern society and human’s emotion without facial expression. Fashion magazines and photographs are actually everywhere in the modern world, I’m obsessed with these bizarre and unusual poses from the models of these fashion photographs. They look like in a fantasy and unreal world. The poses look awkward but perfectly beautiful in it’s way. It makes me want to draw directly on them. I start to cover all the fashion photographs up by colors but copy all the model poses completely to the people i draw. I want this series of drawing to be real but still having a sense of humor.
