Artist Karan Reshad has been doing Visual arts since 1990 and has won a number of first prizes in Tehran’s schools Competitions and took part in a number of international cartoon festivals.
Since 1998 he started professional carreer,designing Cinematic Magazine covers for Iranian publishers and Magazines then shifted to newspaper editorials and Page layoutand has a role in changing newspapers layouts from their traditional layout to a newer level.In 2003 his thoughts and art career brought him to Streetart and located him and his city as the first source of Graffiti and streetart in the middleeast and IRAN he established KolahStudio and invited His Friends to take side in the studio…but in less than a year he was left alone and all friends got their own ways in life and started to take other jobs and keep Art for their breaktime while Reshad was holding in tight.
His every day work on blackbook ,wall and web made a good atmosphere for the newer generations both in his country and geographic region.and he is still keeping it up.He also translates and writes articles for persian language readers about graffiti and undergound art and trying to open horizons for the next generations of Iranian,Middleeastern Street Art and Graffiti.
