Besides being a fundamental and necessary element in our homes, lighting can also become a furnishing accessory that adds a distinguishing touch to any environment, room and space.

This is the starting point for the collection of lamps conceived by the London-based practice 7Gods : thanks to these eye-catching sculptures, the light takes centre stage in every setting.

Being an interior design practice, at the beginning every item was created with the customer active participation in every stage of the project: from the design and the first sketches to the final product. This was a consequence of the fact that every lighting fixture was conceived as an integral part of the project, completing it and providing it coherence.

The first models were so successful that 7Gods decided to create this small collection of lamps featuring an unconventional and articulate silhouette.

All the items are handmade, by folding and cutting paper, in limited edition. The range includes shades, table lamps and suspension lights. They recall origami pieces rather than lamps, layouts resembling waterfalls of paper strips or tangles of yarns.

According to rumours , giving the huge amount of requests received, the practice is looking for a partner to produce the entire collection on a large scale.
