Martin Lamothe is filled of color, energy and strength of Africa’s most colorful and optimistic. The spring-summer 2012 collection is an explosion of color, light, three-dimensional prints pottery attached to the clothes, hand-woven fabrics knitted in the image of African tapestries and carved wood. The collection is a direct homage to the artist Keith Haring. The star colors in the collection are black and white, not downplay the green or pink in some looks. The essence permeates African austere and flat shapes that cover the body with tunics, dresses-jackets and long dresses apron. The shoes are of the brand United Nude, its high-end Haiku carved in wood and leather. A show full of energy from start to finish, with soundtrack by Gerard Estadella
