Magnum Mentorship Singapore is the first collaborative effort between Magnum Photos and Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF); designed as a mentorship programme to guide practising photographers in their professional careers by developing a new or existing photographic vision and propelling it to the next level.
The programme provides participants with the great opportunity to receive tutelage under the mentorship of one of the Magnum photographers, Alec Soth, Jim Goldberg or Susan Meiselas, in Singapore.
At the end of the three-month programme, participants will have the opportunity to exhibit their work as part of the 3rd SIPF in October 2012.

HOW TO APPLY?
To apply for the mentorship programmes, please submit the following information online at www.sipf.sg
1) Biography (not exceeding 400 words)
2) Latest CV
3) Portfolio
a. Please submit low-resolution image files (20 works) in one single PDF file for online viewing.
b. Please group your images in zip folders according to each body of work.
4) A short paragraph on what you hope to achieve in this mentorship programme.
5) Indicate your choice of mentor by ordering their names numerically (1 being most preferred).
Participants can select one of the following Magnum photographers as their instructors: Alec Soth, Jim Goldberg or Susan Meiselas.
The instructors will select participants based on the portfolio submitted.
