Menswear action have move to Paris today. Fashion Week has just open and all the fashion addict have stormed the french Capital in order to catch the new trend for the season Autumn winter 2013/14.
We start this morning with ALIBELLUS+. Titi Kwan, the designer, show us a phantasmagorical vision of a Paris dreamed when he was a young men. High-waisted pant, quilted trench coat, sweaters emerging one by one, subtly atypical. Every details demonstrates absolute mastery. A creative play that give life to great elegance.
Julien David recive us in a beautiful “Hotel Particulier” in “Le Marais” . His collection is a mix between street-wear and luxury. Underlining the wearability of the pieces, David had them modelled by “real people” who wandered in to castings straight from the Paris streets.
“CHAIRMAN” is probably the most experimental collection made by Y. Project up to now. The name itself is an allegory about the illusion of social power and the influence that it project on the subject.
Yohan Serfaty show us his talent to create strong, graphic and architectural clothes always well balanced with an hight level of quality and research .
Carven designer Guillaume Henry channeled a day in the life of the suited city businessman — on the subway and at the office — for his fall-winter 2013-2014 fashion show.
In Carven’s fantastical world, these were no ordinary businessmen: Many of the models were also decked out for mountain expeditions.
His palette of mottled grays, navy and camel contrasted with bright sporty colors like red, green and royal blue.
