Alba Yruela is 21 years old and living in Barcelona, Spain. She was born in La Bisbal a town near the Catalan Pyrenees. She was living and working in London for a year. Her photographs are a project/diary about her life. Alba’s portfolio is so honest, natural and raw.
When did you start to think about photography?
I don’t know when I started to think about it but for sure long before I started to taking photographs. When I was little I was always interested with the photographs of the magazines, books etc. I had boxes plenty of tearsheets.
What does photography mean to you? and which kind of photography do you like more?
Photography for me is my daily life. I love to take photographs and they will be a memory forever.
I like good photography doesn’t matter which kind it’s.
When you take a portrait, what is important for you?
It’s the rawness of the moment.
Do you think it’s important to follow a school to learn how to shoot?
It’s not imprecindible but it can help to accelerate the process of learn the technical stuff. But photography it’s not only these. It’s much more.
