Can you tell us something about you?
Quand j’avais 25 ans je m’ai tué.

Where do you live and work now?
I live and work in Bordeaux (France) but I am in the agency “Signatures” which is in Paris.

How did you start taking pictures? Usually there is always the old story of the boy who finds his grandfather’s camera, did that happen to you as well or not?
I never knew my grandfathers, they are dead before I was born. I bought my first camera in 2008 four years ago. At first I just wanted to draw attention to a girl. All poetry has a secret interlocutor in my part it was an art student who loved photography ..

Have you thought right away to follow the existing trends in photography or has it been a need to look for different styles and themes that have motivated you?
My motivation was to please this girl but in reality the photography maintains some solitude. At the heart of my work, observation of the individual and the events of my daily. A daily appearances harmless which have a strange indefinable, a small tear in an apparent normality. As for the style this is certainly the gonzo journalism ..

Where your inspiration comes from?
It may seem strange but I think my main inspiration comes from my shapes of soul (feelings, moods, frame of minds ..) In a more general I am influenced by everything around me : what I observe or I see, people I meet and I frequent, what I listen or heard, what I read, the times, who I am and what I believe ..

In a portrait, what is important for you?
No doubt the beauty of the portrait ..

Witch kind of relationship do you have with your subject when you shoot?
Much of the subjects are first friends. Mika for example is my best friend. It has a friendly relationship and a relationship of complicity with this kind of subjects.

What does it mean for you now “Streetphotography”?
Pictures of people, friends or unknowns, stolen in the street, no ?

Do you think it’s important to follow a school to learn how to shoot?
In my part I am self-taught. It’s certainly interesting to learn the techniques and have a photographic culture ..

What’s the photo you want to take and you never did?
I wooul like shoot a polar bear doing the garbage of a McDonald’s to eat. This is because of the snow melts they are reduced to this.

What’s your last project that are you working on ?
A campaign mode for the next collection of t-shirt of a trademark eco-friendly.

What’s your photo-mission?
No one ? I don’t know ..
