From April 8th to 13th Milan will be, again, as every year, the capital of design. In fact, the Salone del Mobile opens: the benchmark in the world of home-furnishing sector and an unique advertisement instrument for the Italian furniture industry.
As every year, the main exhibition centre will be the Fiera Milano-Rho in particular, from the pavilion 13-15, and the SaloneSatellite, a space dedicated to young designers under 35, will be opened again.
However, we can not omit all the events that take place throughout the city thanks to Fuorisalone that every year brings to the city a whirl of social events, theme parties and location for exhibitions: first of all the historic art district of the city, lying bare in the Brera Design District, and then it continues with the Liberty of Porta Venezia and the historic seat of the Milan Triennale.
In the Tortona area will be located, also, the Tortona Around Design and Superstudio Around / Temporary Museum For New Design, all new design items will be exposed to insiders. Great expectations for the new initiative “Where do they live the architects”, where the exclusive private rooms of eight major contemporary architects will be exposed: Shigeru Ban, Mario Bellini, David Chipperfield, Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas, ZahaHadid, Marcio Kogan, Daniel Libeskind and Bijoy Jain / Studio Mumbai.
