Summer Noir is actually a personal diary. Experiencing a quite dark period through the summer, Zoe decided to move away for a week at her hometown Lefkada, staying most of the time in a ghost-village, with the average annual population reaching 8-10 residents. There she was given the opportunity to depict the emotions she was experiecing through her lens, the serenity of nature as well as its loneliness and the miracle of life in a -maybe- romantic and noir way.
Zoe Ktena was born in 1995. She currently lives in Patras, Greece and works as a part-time photographer. She studies Philosophy in the University of Patras. Simultaneously she tests her further abilities, as an intern/contibutor in Nakid Magazine.
