Francesca Reberschegg is a fashion design student at Polimoda Institute of Design and Marketing, in Florence.
“Tracks” is her second year collection project, inspired by the tormented love of Clara Wieck and Robert Schumann, and their struggled relationship with music. They became the icons of her work,upped also by a research on the nineteenth century clothing and contemporary art.
Here are some Francesca’s words to explenate her work: ” I was fascinated by their love and hate feelings for music, which is a contrast that i feel aswell with fashion and its world. This is why my collection was based on dark colors and and the use of completely different fabrics on the same garment. I love to experiment on textiles, trying to create something new but always functional.”
